I came up with a rigid solution; carbon fiber strut, with a ball on the end, that locks into
the t-deck. This allows the canopy to not flip back from a wind gust. Yours is a lot lighter

I'd use solid rivets. How? Easy, just provide an access hole behind the ones that will show
such that you can squeeze or buck each rivet. The access holes won't show because they'll be
