    Dennis, epoxy is superior to poly. And if you plan to put cf in the part you need to use either
    epoxy or vinylester. Poly is not compatible with cf. we use jeffco epoxy available from spruce.

    The math has never worked very well for me as far as using an L washer. On an AN3 bolt with 32

    If you can't get the hole to line up with a castle nut just add a "L" thin washer..... I've

just wanted to say thanks for the advice you gave me...oh about 3 years ago now. I finally received my A&P certs and already got a job offer with a professional airshow pilot working on everything from Pitts, to Waco's, to anything els that comes through the door. haven't been on the forum in a while, or worked on building (got married, had a kid...etc), but with this new job I imagine that door will once again be open to me! thanks again!
