Default Kids and biplanes

We take cadets flying in our vintage planes every summer. We fly hundreds of kids 20 minutes each. We did 60 the last few days and will do more next week. Its a ton of fun and the military base we used was hopping with cool jets. This pic had us all laughing. Poor little guy.. think I need to offer him a rain check with a pillow

They like them, even without the wings!

I keep an old flying helmet and goggles in the turtledeck for when kids come visiting....

Years ago, I found a sale on silk flying scarves and bought a half-dozen. I cut them in half, and give them to relatives' and friends' kids.

Finally, I've got a "lift seat" in my airplane to help me get out with a bad knee. I run it to the top when kids are visiting; gives them a much better view.

This is one of my favorites. Somebody took this at Soringfield Vt in the early 2000s. These kids were cheering as we were flying ...Sportsman.
