Default Where to buy brackets for the flying wires

Does anybody have a source for the #144 brackets that the flying wires attach to? I could use about a dozen of them, the ones that came with my SD are rusted and a few are missing, thanks, Tom

Tom, chances are pretty slim that you will find a source to purchase those fittings. At the time I built mine, the 4130 tubing that the plans call out was not even available so I had to substitute. I couldn't find my sheet 15 bill of material but if I remember correctly it called out for .090 thick tubing. I ended up using some 1"x3"-.120 steel tubing after visiting with an engineer and determining it was an adequate substitution by increasing wall thickness. The tube did have a seam running down one side of it but it was positioned so I was able to fabticate the fittings without the seam getting in the way.
