Chris,
Do you mind people stopping by to say hello and see what you're up to?
Good luck with it.

Are you going to be making the wood leading edges or is Tony going to be doing that?

Tony will be providing them with wing kits but I have the forms for S1, S2, eagle, and coming soon acrosport 2. So unless you are purchasing a whole wing kit I will be providing them. I'm actually in the process of making a set right now.

Do you have a website up and running yet? I'm very interested in hearing more about the complete kit.

Tony did some experimenting. To get leading edges as stiff as wood, if made out of carbon they actually end up being heavier and about 5 times the price. In the wing kit, the wing tips and aileron tips are made out of carbon.

Thanks for the link Bret, the website is still a work in progress. We just launched it 2 weeks ago. Still have some updating to do to it and pictures to add.

I thought it's pretty darn good for the short time you've had the company.

So in case anyone was wondering what's new with us, here's some pics. We have been building an S1S fuselage with wolf parts for the last month and a half. Looks like we should have it about wrapped up in the next few weeks. The fuse is going to the customer painted and ready for him to finish. He has a balled up one he is transferring the guts over into. He is currently building the wing kit for it. We are setting up the trim system like the WP-360 which I will detail once we get that installed. I think you'll like it, it's pretty trick. Did a Ti firewall for an S1-T, Got an S1-11 stab and elevator in for the CF treatment as well, and the plywood Leading edge orders just keep coming in. Having alot of fun.......

That firewall looks nice, you know, for a metal piece.
Haven't figured out how to make that out of CF yet? :what:

The stock firewall is 6 lbs, this is 3.6 lbs.

Rob, haven't done that one yet

We just painted and put new glass in that 150.

Default Wolf Aircraft Products

I mic'ed my Cert Pitts S2C firewall. It was .0095"

I was super surprised at that thin gage.

If a Ti-6Al-4V or CP Ti firewall was .016" (thinnest standard gage) you would save practically no weight.

Any thought of just going with steel? It's cheap! :-)
