In that picture, they actually do have a layer of deck cloth on them. You can hardly tell, but they are ready for prime and paint.

Really enjoying watching this...too bad you don't have someone filming over your shoulder now and then, that would be a PBS special that would generate interest in building I'm sure. Good to know the arts are alive!

Thanks! I made patterns for all the ribs in the airplane. I attached rough cut ribs to the patterns then ran them around the router table. Made it easy to make exact parts that I could repeat.
