Would like to set the same on my S-2a but don't know if the firewall gives enough clearance, same for oil cooler.
May I ask a picture facing the engine please and another one from the side?
Many thanks

I'm out of town until Thursday night but I can get you some pictures Friday. I imagine if you call Sky Dynamics and speak to Kevin, the owner, he'll know the answer.
In the Eagle, it was not tight against the oil cooler but the collector was very close to the firewall and cowling.

Started installing mine tonight after my starter died. Not sure why but after shut down the starter decided to engage the ring gear so it's toast. Maybe it was engaged that entire flight. I have a B&C ready to install that was backordered but I dont like taking weight off the nose. Luckily, I will make up most of the difference with my new exhaust. Incase anyone was wondering, i weighed both exhaust systems before install. The only thing missing is the heat muff on the SD.

Sorry, you may have meant with the cowl off which I don't have at this time. I don't know if these will help you.

I'll take those extra 4 lbs up front. Between that and changing my 23 lb battery to a 13 lb Odyssey I'll pick up some CG wiggle room.

Good luck with the install!

I have parts also of my old eagle exhaust. Let me know what you need. I went to the Sky Dynamics exhaust and kept my cabin heat.

What heat muff did you use? I have the SD installed but no heat yet?

It was just a clam shell aluminum heat muff. Here is the best picture I have of it from when I was making the changes.

i was working on a friend's Eagle today and got some photos of the SD exh.
He added a cross tube Adel clamped to the mount.
Do you guys replace the o-ring when removing the prop?

Thanks for the reply Brandon,
Your hanger bracket looks great.
Where did you buy the o-ring?

Not even close. Oil cooler is in the way of an RV exhaust.

Aircraft Spruce is where I got mine. Not a big deal. Any aviation quality bring of that size will do the trick.
