Default OSH rooms.....

Always a last minute with me as I can never really rely on my schedule flying for "the man" at mother U.

I may be able to blast out Saturday morning and arrive OSH in Sunday--leave out on Thursday...any tips on last minute hotel or cancellations? I know a very little about the dorms so info on that as well.

Here are some links for different housing options. I stay at the dorms, but not everyone likes that.

Dorms are the easiest way. Not glamorous more like camping, but if you dont have transportation its great. There is food and busses to OSH; pretty easy.

you will want the AC room if you can still get one - especially if it's at all hot during the convention. The non AC rooms don't have any air circulation so they are very stuffy at night even with the window open. If you don't to the AC room, bring a fan to help move air.

Try the Oshkosh Christian School. Air conditioning, breakfast, shuttle back and forth and a bunch of mom's hanging around taking care of everything. I think it is about $65 a night. Phone number in the EAA website for housing. I have stayed there 4 times and wouldn't stay anywhere else

I buy a spot in a house within easy walking distance to the airport. If you're interested, I'll see what he has left. You'd need to bring a sleeping bag.
