Default pictures are rotated 90 degrees

hello, overtime I try and upload an image it is rotated 90 degrees. Any ideas?

If you are using an iPhone, take the picture with the volume buttons down, and to the left. That seems to be right side up in Apple land. The IOS software corrects for how you took the picture on its own but when you send the picture file out to other operating systems, that capability is lost. But, that's just my theory. Seems to work for me.

I think I found an iPhone & iPad solution to pictures being posted sideways and upside down.

Before posting a pic...
With your device upright, home button at the bottom
Go to the picture in the photo library
Click the “Edit” button
Choose the rotate icon at the bottom of the screen
Change the rotation angle slightly, it can end up back at zero rotation
Click done to save the change
Now post the picture and it will show up the same way it was on the idevice
