Can't go back. This branded app is built on the Tapatalk base and since it updated, we had to do so to stay compatible and not having app breakdowns.

Datapoint: on Android, Biplane Forum app v5.3.18, if I click on the "hamburger" (three horizontal lines) in the upper-left corner, then select "Settings," the first option under "Topic & Thread" is "Font Size," with choices or Small, Normal and Large. Mine is set to Normal, and I'd guess that it hasn't changed font size on me since the big change, but I also don't use the phone app very often.

For the guys who are having trouble reading the app without magnifiers, try the Large setting and see if that helps. See the images below (the iPhone should be similar, but may be laid out a little differently).

The Large setting only seems to affect the text in the threads, and not the summaries shown on the various index pages (Participated, Subscribed, Timeline, Unread, etc.), but it is noticeably larger. I'm pretty nearsighted, and find the Normal font size to be fine. I would guess that the Large size will be better for people who need cheaters, but could be another 2-3 points bigger.

Feedback for the app team: perhaps we could have a fourth option, where we can simply enter a number for font size. Keep Small, Normal and Large, those are good, but giving people the option of entering their own font size would allow us to cater to everyone more easily.

Related feedback: the font size selection should also apply to index views as well as thread views. It's great that we can adjust font size in the thread, but not having that setting transfer over to the index makes it less useful.
