Default Drag/Anti-Drag Pull Block Locations

I'm getting setup to glue my pull blocks in place. Per the plans correction, they are centered on the cord (1 9/32 up from the bottom of the spar). At the aileron bay, the pull blocks just don't look right.

Is this right?

If it is, then I'll put a piece of wood in between so they have something to compress on. I haven't checked aileron clearance, I know I'll have to shave them down but something seems off to me.

The blocks center on the spar centerline, not the cord. They should end up inline with the compression members in the compression ribs.

If the pull blocks are set too low on the rear spar there is a lot of interference with the end of the drag/anti-drag wires and the aileron leading edge.

Maybe this picture can help?

I'm building a Skybolt (could be different?)

Anyway, the plans/instructions call for drilling the holes through the spar first.
When this is done, glue on the maple blocks.
And then back drilling through the existing holes, through the blocks.

Steve,
If you search the Acro builders you will see lots of discussion about location of the wires, i put mine on center of spars and as you can see it still is tight in the aileron well.
