Turtledeck coming along. Finally got some projects wrapped up in the shop and I can concentrate full time on wolf stuff! So anyways took some ideas I learned doing this: http://www.biplaneforum.com/showthread.php?t=6107 and am applying it to the 360. Now that the glass one is all fit, Iíll use it to mock up the bulkheads and then make the carbon one! Also redesigning the canopy system and am going to use this one and a mock canopy to get the action right and to clear the top wing. (Reason Iím building the top wing first in the other thread). Anyways I know you all like pics so here ya go. Should have more regular updates on this now. We are finishing this Aircraft to completion and it will be living with us here....... darn

Working on fit up of the canopy skirt, and then making a new frame for it. Then on to the mechanism and hinging.

Kinda funny, looking at these pics compared to yesterday it looks exactly the same! 8 hours tobput in a handful of clecos haha

FYI, the canopy skirt and all fiberglass panels are only for tooling. They will be used to tune up the molds and create perfect carbon parts.

I bet most of us understand how much time quality work takes. I've never made molds but suspect the time spent now will really pay for itself later. I'm impressed.

Amazing fit and finish, and it's just the rough draft.

Will these upgrades be available to convert a stock s1 frame?

Unfortunately not, the fuselage is completely different than an S1. The tail attaches differently on this aircraft as the horizontal stab is one piece, also eliminating the need for the front strut. The only thing that will be the same is our wings. However, if someone is creative building a new S1 they can use the firewall from this, cowling and front carbon panels if they were to remake all the fuselage formers.
