Steen Aero is offering built-up “new style (i.e. taller)” bungee landing gear for sale. My question is, how new is new? Like newer than plans Rev 3/90? I guess that’s 30 years ago now. I’m building a -540 Bolt from scratch and wonder advantages, such as prop clearance in 3-pt, noticeable handling improvements, full stall in 3-pt landing, etc. I have all the metal. Are there new plans modifications? Thanks in advance.
