• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

For Sale, New, never run, 0 time, 150 HP Rotec radial engine. We took delivery of this engine in August of 2008 at Oshkosh for a plane we were building in case we could not find an original engine for it. It has never been run. It has been kept in our air conditioned, heated workshop on an engine stand and regularly oiled per the manual. All accessories are included except for the 4 lord mounts. They are not included in the sale. This engine complies with all ADs listed on the manufacturer's web site.

These are excellent engines with a large number of planes being flown, powered by them, right now. It is just surplus to our needs. Email us if you have any questions or do not understand these instructions. This engine is suitable for any WW I replica you might be building or considering building.

8/24/15 These engine are selling from Rotec for $27500 Australian Dollars = $19,657 USD today. Plus you are saving the cost and time for shipping from Australia to the US. Thanks.
