• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

I just posted my current engine on Barnstromers:

100 SNEW FRANKLIN O-235, 130HP • $6,000 • FOR SALE • Firewall forward-130HP, 100 hours since New. Currently installed in 2010 Pitts S1 but I’m feeling the need for vertical speed, installing a Lyc 360 this winter. A great running engine, compressions at annual: 78-79/80 - 2 months ago. 4cyl, “Sport 4” Experimental engine from Franklin, same specs as the 4A-235 but more HP & experimental. Firewall forward, includes engine, engine mount, oil cooler, baffling, 4 into 1 exhaust, prop, spinner, starter, alternator, mags, carb, etc.. if it’s bolted to the engine, you get it! Call me to set up a time to hear it run/see it fly. $6,000.00 or best offer.

RE: 1948 Luscombe 8F
Might be difficult to do that as it is experimental.
