I know I'm thinking way ahead but I would like to know what each of you is thinking for running for an electrical system 12volt or 24 volt and why. My backround is extensive into automotive and heavy equipment electrical but aviation not so much. I am planning to use 24 or 28 (however you would like to call it) system. My thoughts are, smaller battery, lighter wiring, less charge system output needed, and I am under the impression that 28v is more the norm in aircraft so electrical items of this voltage would be easier to find as I am always looking for parts out there. Please correct me if I am wrong on this.

Thanks, Nick
