• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $29.95/year to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Good luck with sale! I am in love with it. Maybe one day 😉 gotta ask...what is the new one? If I had a choice of any plane to own forever...I'd pick a Waco S3HD. I want to ride it one day...even if I never get one. It's just magical. Anyway, I'll stop my Waco day dreaming. Fantastic plane you have, good luck!

I have always been in love with the F2's and I have been offered the opportunity to buy one from a friend. As for the D, if you are ever at a fly-in and see the airplane just walk up to John and ask for a ride. He loves to share the airplane with people. You may be surprised. As for Waco dreams, 24 years ago all I could afford was a basket case Cabin after selling my Luscombe. After 18 years of restoration I had a flying airplane. It is now time to move on to another dream. Thanks!

Dave
