Hi Forum

I got my plans and I am now sourcing tube.

Has anyone bought a bunch of 4130 N within the last year or so, and who did you source it from.

I want to make note to Darin Bishop at http://www.2wings.com for putting together a Buy list for the plans. Thanks Darin.

I have filled online shopping carts with the materials from the list on:

ACSpruceCanada: $CAN 2600.00 including the darn 13% tax here in Ontario (certs cost extra) No shipping, I can pick up (only 40 minutes from my house.)

Wicks: I think the list came in about $US 1300.00 plus shipping, sales tax, brokerage.....Edit 27/10/2013: This 4130 price was the link on their website called 4130 Tube...I just noticed on the Wicks website that they also have a link called : 4130 round tubing American/German. I have not priced out Darin's list from this link because not all tube is listed.
That's as far as I got shopping online.

One metal supplier that I went too in Hamilton ON quoted the list at over eight grand!

I was advised by a super nice guy, Kevin Kimble, to watch out for poor quality 4130.

So if you ended up with bad tubing, who supplied it?

Hoping the depth of knowledge here will have some tips.

Got to get to work, on a five day sports charter. In RDU flying to MSP to and then off to DEN, CPS, and finally YVR. Deadhead back to YYZ some time soon!

Regards,
Ryan
