Fellow SA750 builders and owners -after reading as many posts as I could find, there seems to be no consensus of a remedy for the cabane attachment fittings issue on the Acroduster Too. Have there been any mechanical engineers who have addressed this problem. Currently there appears to be four opinions offered from posters on this forum: 1 - omit the eyebolt and replace with a solid welded nonadjustable end fixture. 2 - Replace roll brace with flying wires. 3 - Continue using the eyebolt and inspect frequently. 4 Reinforce eyebolt juncture with straps. Anyone done a professional analysis with a recommendation for a fix? AS a side note, I viewed the photos of the SA750 crash at Sonoia Ga and the upside down severely damaged aircraft was sitting on the intact center wing section which appeared relatively undamaged. Would be interesting to inspect the cabane fittings of that wreckage. How so lucky was that pilot to walk away from there.
