Well i have about 6 hours in the Acro Sport II now and 100 hours tailwheel.

Our Acro Sport seems Extremely sensitive on the Rudder.

Mainly just when you are on take off and get the tail wheel off the ground. and in the air. I spent a good 20 minutes today practicing coordinated turns. and the Ball was all over the place.

I would try a shallow right turn and a tiny bit of right rudder and it would shoot the ball way out to the Left. and vise versa.

on three points it lands great. its just wheel landings that its so sensitve on the pedals. it makes it hard.

Are ya'lls Acro Sports like that??

Or does it take time just to get used to it.

My IA said we could adjust the cable bracket lengths to make the rudder not quite as sensitive.

It doesn't bother me too much on the ground.

It just drives menuts that i can't keep an airplane coordinated in flight

Let me know what you think
