Hello! I have a 150hp Pitts S-1C that i am restoring. I currently have a Metal Sensenich 74DM6-0-54 prop, and I would like to change to a wooden prop.
Vibration characteristics, weight hanging on the crankshaft, nostalgia, and looks are among the reasons why I want to make this switch. If i had a pumped up 200hp S-1S/T i would consider a catto or some other composite but that is not the case.
1) Has anyone used a propeller from New Zealand company 'Aero Performance Propeller'?
2) If yes, was your experience with the prop on something aerobatic?
3) What airframe and engine combination was it?
4) What are some common options for prop sizes/pitches on an o-320 Pitts S-1C
