What do you think about an aerobatic biplane with conventional tube fuselage with composite outer panels, mixed wood and composite cantilever tail feathers and mixed wood, composite and fabric wings?
The idea is to take advantages of the biplane design with monoplane construction technology to eliminate the external bracing and therefore improve aerodynamics and performance. The concept is neither new nor revolutionary, itâs been used for a while in biplane racing designs, but itâs never been tried in aerobatic designs as far as I know. The image attached is just to show the concept.
