Preparing my Pitts fuselage for recovering... will be primed with epoxy before Poly Fiber covering process.
My question is should the aluminum turtledeck be primed also, or left bare? It was originally primed, but not very well.
The aluminum leading edges on the wings were not primed tho; they were left bare.
Any specific advantages or disadvantages to either? I would prefer to remove the primer like it is on the wings.
Thanks
