Must be my week for questions - - - Since 1971 I have never found the need for using an AN reducer, they came in yesterdays mail. I am reducing 3/8" to 1/8". I screwed the reducer on to the AN838 bulkhead fitting and thought - no "O" ring, no flared tube, no sleeve, no way this isn't going to leak.
Am I suppose to believe that butting two 37 degree tapers together is going to be fuel tight ? And, when the reducer is almost tight it contacts the bulkhead nut so I am not sure how tight I will be able to get it anyway. What am I missing - - this time
Thank you - again
Think I will check u-tube whilst I await replies
Last week someone said, "lets wait until we get to know you better before we decide if your questions are stupid or not."
I am afraid to ask . . . .
