Hi there, I am hoping to get some more time to work on my project and will start posting some progress soon (I hope). I have been procuring missing parts/pieces recently so I can start making some steady progress.

I'm looking to purchase the anti-drag wire blocks stock to make them one piece. It sounds like hard maple is the material of choice for them. I have a newbie aircraft wood question: where in the heck do I find aircraft quality hard maple in which I can fabricate the blocks from? I've reached out to Steen Aero to see if they sell the hard maple stock (they sell them for the Pitts S1) and they do not, but referred me to a local speciality lumber store. I have thought of doing that and taking the FAA wood specifications along with me to choose something that meets the criteria, but was thinking maybe there is a better (easier) way to go?

Thanks!
Matt
