I'm studying the methods of attaching aluminum sheet to the steel structure. I've read the builder's manual and Tony Bingelis' books.

One question I have is how best to rivet the nutplates to the coaming strips and tabs? Specifically, should you use AN426AD3 aluminum rivets to attach the steel nutplates to the steel coaming? Any issues with dissimilar metal corrosion? Would it be better to use stainless or monel pop rivets?

Anything else I might be missing?

Thanks,

Ward
