• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Wow, look at this, posting a build project in the Skybolt forum. Feels kinda funny ;). So Beej called me a few months ago asking for advise on how to fix his nose bowl. I'll let him explain the details as to why but it came down to me trying to explain to him how to go about fixing it. After about 45 minutes of conversation explaining what to do, he had me convinced to "just send me the darn thing" :D

I told Beej, make your nose bowl as nice as you can because ill be using it as a plug, so the part will look exactly like what you send me. Well, today I started "fixing" the plug he sent me........ Hahaha sorry Beej. Anyways I know you guys like building and fabrication photos do here's a small build thread on his nose bowl. I'll be keeping the mold so anyone that needs one, when my project is done, I'll be happy to make one for.
