• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. I have a pair of Benix mags with the big hex nut P-Lead. I am looking for the 1" long ceramic/ bake a light insulators . Might purchase some phenolic rod if I can't find the real deal .

If you have any old Bendix harnesses lying around in your junk pile just cut a foot long section with the spark plug end still on it. Trim the other end so the spiral wire will stick out long enough for your timing box to hook on and there you have it....just make sure the shielding isn't touching the spiral wire.
