Hi Guys,
First post here on the forum. Just wanted to introduce myself and share my project. I purchased the first Eagle that Benny Davis built. It was posted elsewhere in the forum that the gear collapsed last fall. I am deep into the repairs. As of now it is back up on the gear and wing repairs are almost done It was built in 1990 and was ready for upgrades. The interior has gotten a complete repaint, new floor, new carbon fiber instrument panel, upgrades to the cabin heat and vent system. The sheet metal work and repairs to the bottom cowl are next. If all goes well it will be ready to fly this summer.
The big item yet to accomplish is a new propeller. I am torn between a MT or going with a Hartzell again. I am leaning toward an MT but the $14K price is holding me back. Any help in locating a used prop would be great. I do have a Harzell B hub without blades. I figure there might be some Hartzells laying around because of the AD.
