Do you have any information on the installation of this in a Pitts S1-S? Has it been done before? I really like the idea of a BRS system on aerobatic aircraft. Would love to have one on my - soon to be purchased - S1-S. What's the installed weight? About 30 pounds?

The system is designed for a max weight of 1350 lbs . I don't see why it couldn't br used in a Pitts . Send BRS a Email and see what they say.
Thanks , Tom

That's a sizable item to find a place for in an S-1. I'll be interested to see how it can be done.

Ok, I know you were making a point, but Pitts drivers are about the farthest thing from Cirrus drivers I can think of. :)

So no, please don't turn my Pitts - or any Pitts - into a Cirrus, aka the nicest plane you don't have to fly. :)
