Hi all,

I'm about to pull the trigger on building my own 4 in 1 exhaust for the Ultimate. Is there anything I should know before starting to shop for parts? Any good article to read beforehand?

Plan is to use the XForce CL4S merge collector, hang it in place where I want it to be, and run the longest tube to it and adapt all the remaining tubes in a way that they end up the same length as the first tube. Add the breather port, smoke fittings and EGT probes and call it done. Do I need to use ball joints or other joints in the area of the headers or should it be enough to use springs where the tubes merge into the collector? Where can i get that fancy thin walled stainless steel tubing in 1 7/8"?

Link to the Merge collector:

I'd really like to hear of your own exhaust story. Thanks guys!
