• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Hi all

One of our members posted a note about a fuselage they had put a deposit down on, only to find the fuselage quality was poor, and have been unable to recover the deposit. We decided to withdraw the posting, as we felt this posting contradicted our rulebook #2:

2. Personal attacks are strictly prohibited. Debates are fine, but when it turns personal and becomes incessant - that's a no-no.

We have no place for judging a situation and are not going to sanction an online flame - however warranted it appears to be.

However - we would like to, on behalf of the poster, underline the risks associated with purchasing unseen stuff and that there are clearly unscrupulous operators around. Take care out there, be alert, and be sure to inspect thoroughly anything up for sale anywhere!

Fly safe. Buy safe.
