Gents,
Tommy and I recently acquired another project Toot. This was a parted-out airframe which had then been acquired by a couple other builders as a project. Some nice work had been added, other stuff we have removed and reworked. We have decided to complete it as a Toot which will be suitable for a Light Sport qualified pilot. (We're not getting any younger, ya know...) Those wheel pants we built were in anticipation of this aircraft. The aircraft had rib damage to one wing. That has been repaired. We are also having a Lycoming O-290G rebuilt for this aircraft and have ordered a Sensenich wood prop for it as well. So far we have re-worked the fuselage and three good wings to the point where they have the first white paint. And I have begun to build the instrument panel
We have named the aircraft "Chickenhawk" after Henery Hawk, the little chickenhawk that made Foghorn Leghorn famous.
Look for the "Chickenhawk" album in my user gallery. We will continue to post work as we can.
