Made some pretty good headway on a few of the canopy mounts had everything liquid blasted all the welds inspected re-powder coated black and red. I polished and filed several pieces for the Jettison so it operates and functions extremely smooth I purchased a few small stickers from Avet along with a couple bushings and bearings that I could not find aftermarket. I polished all the heads of the stainless steel screws so far so good should get the canopy portion wrapped up here in the next week or so then it’s ready for paint
Here’s a few more.
Made a few spacers. The book shows half a dozen washers to use as shims but that just doesn’t seems professional but it does save on weight.
man that makes for a clean looking install.
That's not a restoration - That is a re-manufacture. When finished it will be better than new!
