Hi guys,

New compressor is here, filter/dryer is on its way and I'm looking at what to use for the fixed lines. I'm not crazy about using PVC but copper or steel seem to be ok. Reading posts around the internet, galvanized is ruled out due to the galvanizing flaking off (really?) but doesn't black pipe rust and then do the same thing? Lastly, there's copper.

It's not a lot of pipe so cost isn't really a factor, just want the right solution for the job.

On a side note, would you use dry, filtered air for sandblasting or use raw air that bypasses the filter/dryer?

Thanks!
Bart
