I was wondering if anyone has any experience wiring up a comtronics 2 intercom? Normally a push to talk switch is straight forward to wire. The wire bundle coming off the intercom for the push to talk switch has 4 wires. I assume 2 for front PTT and 2 for back PTT. I found the 2 wires that when connected together cause the radio to transmit and connected those to the push to talk switch. The problem now is I can’t hear the com radio unless the volume on the intercom is turned all the way up. That makes the comm unusable when you power up for takeoff as all you can hear is back ground noise from the intercom. I am tempted to try connecting the other 2 wires in the bundle to the PTT switch and see if it changes. Just wondering if anyone has had this issue before?
Thanks! Mac
