• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

As seen in the pic, the new applicator for t-88 is in caulk gun format. The hardener & resin are obviously separated within the tube, and exit the nozzel separately. Auto-mixing nozzles can be purchased, although theycan be wasteful as they get used one time. Without the mixing nozzle, the tube is great for dispensing accurately into asmall mixing cup...no more mix ratio mess-ups!

Also in the pic is system3 quick cure, with a tensile strength of 2500 pounds, it is great for tacking while the t-88 cures, and can be used for those minor non-structural applications without having to wait overnight.

The clearcoat is a 'varnish', and is totally compatible with t-88, so no masking is needed. Interestingly, the clearcoat has a tensile strength of 7500 pounds and it's not even classed as an adhesive[I used it to set the wing tip foam]....
