Hey guys,
I've managed to cover all four ailerons with good outcome. Applied the reinforcing tape, stitched everything together and applied the finishing tape over the ribs that got sewn.
Before applying the 4" pinked tape over the trailing edge, followed by the sides and finally the front tape I'd like to know if I need to apply any tapes over the triangles aft of the hinges.
Pretty sure the Ceconite will touch the underlaying structure in flight. It doesn't touch at the moment. Is there a tape needed?
I use the Randolph System and Ceconite 101.
Thank you guys!
