The Skybolts I have observed appear to have a nice straight line from the nose bowl to the firewall. While positioning the nose bowl and attaching the "u" channel supports I find that there is going to be a considerable misalignment of the cowl skin and the lower edges of the nose bowl. the cowl skin will lie flat and even with the firewall and the nosebowl from the 12 o'clock position around the sides to the 4 o'clock position. At this point the angle between the nose bowl and the lower cowl skin begins to increase. It is about 20 degrees at 5 0'clock. I am using a Firebolt nose bowl from Steen. Has anyone else run into this issue?? Any suggestions on how to straighten out this line???
