• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Crawford County Airport in Palestine, IL will be hosting its Bi-Annual airshow on September 28th and 29th. The airport was hit by an EF3 tornado on March 31st 2023, completely destroying every building and 19 airplanes. We were forced to postpone our 2023 airshow until 2024. We have been working hard to rebuild the airport and just opened our first T-Hangar space this week.

We are looking to add an additional performance to our schedule, preferably a formation biplane aerobatic team. If anyone knows of pilots interested please contact me.

This year’s show includes the USAF A-10 Demo team. Along with the USAF, Dacy Airshows will bring some of the premier flying acts to Crawford County including Susan Dacy - 'Big Red' Super Stearman, Mike Vaknin – Extra 300, Bob Richards - 'Machaira', and Erik Edgren - T-Clips Comedy & Aerobatics. Also coming to the show are the Misty Blues, one of the premier all Ladies skydiving team. Entertainment will also be provided by the Ladies of Liberty performing great music from the 1940’s, Andrew Sisters style. The Yankee Air Museum is bringing both Rosie’s Reply (B-25D Bomber), and Hairless Joe (C-47 Transport Plane).
