Below is a diagram showing the rough size of the fuselage box and thediameterof the Jake I'll be hanging on it.
In the Standard Skybolt drawings it says to use 1/2" tubing. Nothing is noted on the Radial drawings. Also... I wanted to have the firewall the same shape as the diameter of the engine. Anything I should know as far as supporting that 44" diameter ring?

- Should I be making the circle out of tubing ?

- Any places I need to put supporting tubing?
- Other than the firewall material, should I enclose the area between the fuselage box and the 1/2" tubing?

I've been searching the gallery and internet and not finding much as far as how the firewall support is done on a round engine airplane. Any suggestions would be helpful.

thanks
Jerry
