The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Does anyone have an issue with high temps in your Model 12? I have a Culp/Skybolt with the same engine, I asked the previous owner about the Cylinder head and Oil temp (Mostly Oil temps) ,he said he only flew it in to cool of the day. The Model 12 has what appears to be a tight cowl, how do your oil temps run? I don't see any Cowl flaps at all or even a lip to draw air. Maybe you guys know something? Thanks in advance.
