• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

This is not Bi-Plane related.... BUT... I do love the WWII Bombers and anything connectedwith them. This is aboutthe CAF's B-17-G 'Texas Raiders' based in Spring, Texas and I thought you guys might get alaugh out of this !!
The Texas DOT [Dept. of Transportation] has been running a “Celebrity Face-Off,” pitting some of their most popular anti-littering ads from the past 25 years against each other. In the CAF ad [formerally Confederate, now Commemorative Air Force] the narrator warns, “Something to think about if you throw trash on Texas highways: Somebody up there’s gonna be watchin’.” The ad is a classic, but could be on its way to immortality with your help. The CAF B-17 addis now in the semifinals.

The Texas Dept. or Transportation has a web sitein which your can vote for your favorite ad. If you have the time, visit the site and vote for the B-17 !! You may have to vote in the other pair of ads in the simi-finals first [ Willie Nelson or the Longhorn ] before you can vote for the B-17. A George Strait ad is up against the B-17.
