Hi all, lapsed acro pilot here.
I was an IAC member in Northern Virginia back in the late 90's and in Florida in the mid-2000's. I competed at sportsman level in a few Florida contests in '05 and '06 when I wasn't deployed in the military. At the time I had a 1/4 share of a decathlon. When I retired in '08 and started my own business, I stopped flying to conserve cash flow.
Took a while to get the business rolling, and expenses increased with 2 kids in school. Now the money is better and and I'm starting to get the bug again. Next logical step is a Pitts S1C or S1S.
