Engine Cowling

I am about to build the engine cowling on my AS II. There is a nose bowl, and the rest is made of.025" 2024 T3 Alu,with atop and a bottomcowl and hinged side doors. If only made by aluminium plates it will no doubt be too flimsy, so some strengthening membersare needed. Here the plans are not so clear. It shows dimensions of two steel channels on the uppercowl. It also shows channels on the bottom cowl but only says "channel dzus fittings " . No dimension of the channels.

What will you suggest will be safe to use as stiffening members onthe aluminium plates of the cowling ?
