• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Did everyone get the email from EAA about the first Experimenter online newsletter? Its been awhile since we had the thread venting about how far EAA had gotten away from homebuilding/plansbuilding. This seems to be a measurable response.

I've been happy with direction EAA has shown in the past year overall. I've noticed the short video clips showing how-to methods for fabricating parts, now the online newsletter with more how-to tips and the oldies from Bingelis. Along with that it seems some of the suggestions to improve the grounds at Oshkosh are in the works too. Plus we are still getting the unity we need to have a chance against new rules/laws that would take away building and flying rights.

I'm sure there are still issues to be resolved and suggestions to be heard, but it looks like someone is listening in Wisconsin.Edited by: bigblackmastiff
