I'm going to re-fabric my Pitts wings. The center section is boxed in plywood, as are wingwalks, etc.
I've looked at a few other finished aircraft and some look like holes were drilled through the plywood, top and bottom, on the inside of the rib so that they could be laced. Others have little bumps under the fabric just inside the edge of the plywood, for what, screws?
Any advice on this? Lacing or screws? If screws, what kind and any washers? If lacing, do you polytak the fabric to the plywood first, or just let it float and let the lacing hold it down?
