You would have hated the ailerons Bill. This ship has spades and those with the boosted ailerons make it sooooo sensitive! Even more so than the extra! I only flew it for about 20 mins but horses it around a bit. The ailerons are like they aren't hooked to anything! Doesn't matter what we like though, the owner likes them! It was quite the experience. Deck angle on take off could only be beat by the space shuttle!!!!!!

Too bad you didn't get to experience the ailerons in their natural state, I would have loved to hear your thoughts on them. Yes, photos please!

That plane was featured in the April 2015 issue of Sport Aerobatics. A nice story, Jeremy Mason must have loved that plane, I'm glad she lives on. Has Kendal Simpson finished his rebuild?

The guy that bought my 12 wanted to add spades. I told him he is crazy, it flies perfectly balanced without them and feels light on the controls. I think I talked him out of it.

Jim and Jeremy were getting training in it for their upcoming first flights for Proton and Pegasus. I went down to hang out. I was supposed to fly the ASIIS to Cincinnati to go look at an S1-11 project but the wx didn't work out.

Sure. But make it worth while. How big a wager you willing to throw down?

    So cool.
My mind is etched with my only Model 12 flight.
I am 6'1", standing, this gives you perspective, or you can make a funny comment about my head floating in space.
