• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

At least this one was classy....

Saw Dave's flying post and figured I'd put this out there too. We focus on building alot around here which is one thing I really like about this site, but they are fun to fly too.

My tailwheel instructor bought himself an aerobatic monoplane last year. He's mostly been getting it to his liking since then but is now starting to fly it more. We went flying in my Eagle yesterday just to let him get reacquainted with acro, and to get him more comfortable with hanging from the belts inverted. Kind of cool to be the one showing him a few things instead of the other way around.

I also got to fly his monoplane and had a blast. It performed much better than I was expecting. Swick T with 170hp. It scoots along pretty good and will do the tightest loops of anything that I've ever flew. Hoping to get him to a contest sometime.
