• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Join us at Harvey Field's Hangar 15 for a discussion of all things relating to flying yourself to Airventure at Oshkosh in 2019: route planning, good airports on the way, strategies for crossing 2/3 of the continent in a small plane, staying at Airventure, things not to miss, etc. This will be a discussion group, so we need both people who want to learn, and people who want to share their experiences. We'll start around 5 pm, and the event will probably last 2-3 hours. Come regale us with/listen to stories and advice about getting there, getting back, what to do and see at the event, etc.

We'll provide a warm, dry place to sit, coffee, water and donuts, and a projector and screen if you have slides or pictures to show. Bring your favorite note-taking equipment. If you know you'll be there, and will want to display slides or videos, contact me in advance to arrange the display tech.

Harvey Field (S43) is located in Snohomish, WA, USA, about 30 miles north of Seattle. Plenty of itinerant parking is available if you want to fly in. Hangar 15 is located just west of the FBO office, which is in the same building as the Buzz Inn Steakhouse. From car parking, walk west past the restaurant, through the chainlink fence gate, and it's the next building on the right. From aircraft parking, walk north past the compass rose and 100LL fuel pump, and it's the hangar with the windows, directly north across the courtyard from the pump.
